- 2 Copies of visa application form to be filled completely and signed
- Current passport valid for more than 6 months and previous passport
- Two Recent Photographs 35 x 45 Background should be white with 80 % face no spectacles or cap, both ears should be visible and teeth should not be visible.
- Covering letter on Company’s letterhead with Company’s seal and address and contact number (letter should have details like travel dates, passport number, designation, a brief company profile and other details about trip and expenses).
- Invite letter on Company’s letterhead with seal and address and contact number (letter should have details like travel dates in and out, passport number, designation, a brief company profile and other details about trip and expenses).
- Xerox copies of Income Tax Papers last 03 years.
- Updated bank statement for 6 months in original from the bank with stamp and seal
- Compulsory return ticket
- Hotel Confirmation with guest name, check-in, check-out details, payment confirmation details and hotel name and address
- Authority letter required on the Company letter head
- Indian Company registration copy
- Visiting Card of the applicant or the company ID copy
Tourist Visa
- 2 Copies of visa application form to be filled completely and signed.
- Current passport valid for more than 6 months and previous passport

- Personal letter having Name, Nationality, Age, Passport No, and Date & Place of issue and reason for visit.
- Leave letter from company in case salaried.
- Hotel Confirmation with guest name, check-in, check-out details, payment confirmation details and hotel name and address
- Compulsory return ticket
- Xerox copies of Income Tax Papers last 03 years.
- Updated bank statement for 6 months in original from the bank with stamp and seal

Special guidelines for COVID-19
If you are travelling to Bangladesh, you must take a COVID‑19 PCR test before departure and submit a health card on arrival
- All passengers travelling to Bangladesh are required to have a negative PCR based COVID‑19 test certificate obtained within 72 hours of the flight time and show it on arrival at the airport. The negative certificate has to be issued in English only.
- Passengers who present no COVID‑19 symptoms during the on arrival health check are required to complete a 14‑day home quarantine. However, passengers with COVID‑19 symptoms will be sent to a government authorized hospital for further checks or kept in an isolation center depending on the nature/intensity of the symptoms.
- All foreign nationals with a valid visa for Bangladesh must have a negative COVID‑19 PCR test certificate issued within 72 hours of travel. Visa on arrival is currently restricted and only allowed for foreign investors with the necessary documentation and a negative COVID‑19 PCR test certificate issued within 72 hours of travel.
- Diplomats of foreign missions in Bangladesh and their recognized family members must have a negative PCR based COVID‑19 test certificate obtained within 72 hours of the flight time and present it on arrival at the airport. Passengers who present no COVID‑19 symptoms observed during the on arrival health check may proceed to a mandatory 14‑day home quarantine. Passengers who present COVID‑19 symptoms on arrival will be sent to a hospital for further checks.
- Foreign investors or entrepreneurs travelling to Bangladesh must have a negative PCR based COVID‑19 test certificate obtained within 72 hours of the flight time and present it on arrival at the airport. Passengers with no COVID‑19 symptoms on arrival and who intend to stay in Bangladesh for less than 14 days may be allowed to enter Bangladesh. However, passengers who present COVID‑19 symptoms will be sent to a government authorized hospital for further checks or kept in an isolation centre depending on the nature/intensity of the symptoms.
Exemptions
COVID‑19 PCR test exemptions are applicable to the below customer categories:
- passengers younger than 10 years.
Required forms
All foreign passport holders must have BD visa on their passports to enter Bangladesh.
Passengers must submit a health card to the Health Authorities in the arrival hall.
