Tourist Visa

  • Personal letter having Name, Nationality, Age, Passport No, and Date & Place of issue and reason for visit.
  • Xerox copies of Income Tax Papers
  • Updated bank statement for 6 months in original from the bank with stamp and seal
  • Overseas medical policy
  • Compulsory return ticket
  • Hotel Confirmation with guest name, check-in, check-out details, payment confirmation details and hotel name and address.
  • Copy of police clearance from the local Police Station
  • Salary Slip for the last 3 months

Work Permit Visa

  • Fully completed visa application form must be completed computerized in block letters.
  • Current passport valid for more than 6 months and previous passport
  • Two Recent Photographs 35 x 45 Background should be white with 80 % face no spectacles or cap, both ears should be visible and teeth should not be visible
  • Compulsory return ticket
  • Hotel Confirmation with guest name, check-in, check-out details, payment confirmation details and hotel name and address
  • Covering letter on Company’s letterhead with Company’s seal and address and contact number (letter should have details like travel dates, passport number, designation, a brief company profile and other details about trip and expenses)To be submitted along with the Spanish translation
  • PCC (Police clearance certificate) – Apostille (if applicable)/attested by Ministry of External Affairs/ Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the respective government) (submitted along with its translation in Spanish).
  • Updated bank statement for 6 months in original from the bank with stamp and seal
  • Bank Letter : Date of opening of an account, annual average balance maintained during the year, Date of last Deposit. (Submitted along with its translation in Spanish).
  • Invite letter on Company’s letterhead with seal and address and contact number (letter should have details like travel dates in and out, passport number, designation, a brief company profile and other details about trip and expenses and should be in spanish and should be notarized and legalized by Procuraduría General de la República Dominicana )
  • Registration Certificate of the Company in Dominican Republic
  • Dominican ID (Cedula) or Migration Status of the Guarantor
  • Document stating that the Guarantor is authorized to sign on behalf of the company.

Student Visa

  • Fully completed visa application form must be completed computerized in block letters.
  • Current passport valid for more than 6 months and previous passport
  • Two Recent Photographs 35 x 45 Background should be white with 80 % face no spectacles or cap, both ears should be visible and teeth should not be visible
  • Proof of the University or the Center for Studies certifying the final acceptance to the University or Research Center
  • Document certifying the scholarship or the institution’s financial support will cover studies in the case studies are funded by an institution in their country of origin or a scholarship. This document must specify what amount of financial support or scholarship, as well as the duration for which it was intended. In both cases, this record must be written on letterhead and certified by the institution.
  • Overseas medical policy
  • Copy of police clearance from the local Police Station
  • Documents proving financial solvency (bank letter, job letter, property deeds, etc..). If any document is issued in the Dominican Republic, must be certified by a notary public and legalized by the Attorney General of the Republic.
  • Application letter addressed to the consular post by the person concerned or his representative, requesting a student visa, including the name and nationality.

Special guidelines for COVID-19

  • Passengers are allowed to arrive in the DR, but it is mandatory to present a negative PCR test certification taken within the previous 72 hours before travel. Travellers who arrive without a PCR certificate will be subject to a COVID-19 test upon arrival and required to isolate in a government quarantine facility for seven days at their own cost.
  • All passengers will have their temperature tested. The Dominican authorities will also administer a rapid diagnostic breath test to a percentage of randomly-selected passengers on arrival.
  • Passengers arriving without a negative PCR test certificate shall be subject to COVID-19 test and shall be subject to mandatory quarantine of 7 days in a government facility at their own cost.
  • Passengers showing COVID-19 symptoms will also be tested. Passengers who test positive will be isolated and attended at authorized locations pending a negative PCR test.
